Ed is the director and owner of Edit Innovation and  is an innovation specialist – with personal and practical experience of all aspects of customer insight, new product development and innovation strategy, culture and capability building.

After graduating with a degree in Zoology and Psychology, Ed started his career in Consumer Goods, working for Nestle in their UK and Italian confectionery businesses and then at Kellogg’s where he held a variety of commercial roles including European Innovation Director and General Manager Ireland.

Ed then became a partner at the consultancy ?What If! Innovation, leading their Manchester practice. 

During 11 years at ?What If! Ed led projects as diverse as:

Ed also led ?What If!’s Capability practice, where he developed and delivered a range of innovation training programmes including Abbvie ‘No Limits’ and the Google ‘Magic Academy’ – a problem solving approach which is now the most demanded training programme in the Google world.

At Edit Innovation Ed works as both a freelance consultant / trainer and in association with a network of ex colleagues and friends to take on briefs a small as a 1 hour conference speech and as big as a global training programme
